Simon Bolivar, The Incas, Machu Pichu, and the History of South America

South American History:

There were grand civilizations throughout South America before contact with explorers and conqurers from Spain and other European countries. In America, the language we speak is called “English” (not “American”) because our country used to belong to England. Many of the countries in South America speak Spanish because they used to belong to Spain. Just as our country needed to fight a war to gain independence, so did much of South America.
